Ronny Lay made his name as the guitarist of the Hong Kong pop rock band “ Mr.”. He
started learning guitar on his own when he was about seventeen years old, and formed his music band “Mr.” with four friends by coincidence in 2008. Apart from being a musician, he is also a film and TV actor, an accredited personal trainer and a guitar teacher. To further his acting career, he was signed by Shaw Brothers Pictures in 2020. In the same year, he established his private gym “Fitness & Music”, with the hope to bring positivity to the community through music and fitness.
BACKGROUND

I am Ronny Lay, a musician, a self-taught guitarist and an actor from Hong Kong. I started learning guitar on my own when I was about seventeen years old. Since then I have been addicted to this incomparable activity. In 2008, I formed a music band called Mister (Mr.) with my four friends by coincidence. From then on, our amazing music journey began. We had wonderful music tours with Cantopop superstars like Mr. Alan Tam and Mr. Eason Chan. We are also blessed to have collaborated with many outstanding artistes from Asia and worldwide. Since then I started to write music and lyrics in Chinese for some of our songs.
The artwork I created for the Miura tee project is inspired by the lyrics I wrote for our song “Can’t Wait”. In the painting, the stars, the moon and the guitar are in harmony with each other, expressing my belief that music is all about life. It links up nature with creature, regardless of territory, culture, language or time. It brings life and hope to everything, including our imagination. While our physical bodies are so fragile and can be destroyed, nothing can destroy our minds and thoughts. With music and lyrics, we become invincible in our visions.
So let us surf with music in our imaginations, without any limit or boundary.
Lastly, I would like to thank Ms. Wong Yan-Yan, a talented artist and painter from Hong Kong who helped me to produce this painting, bravo!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please do not use detergents that contain fabric brightening agents.Please do not tumble dry, the shirt will shrink, line-dry the shirt while keeping its original form to prevent wrinkles.
Wash separately from other garments. The dye may bleed into the water and transfer to other clothes. Do not use too much detergent or softener.
If the seam becomes distorted, iron the garments to help the shirt keep its original form. To protect the garments, put a piece of cloth between the garment and iron.
The print will start wearing off through repeated wash.
